The small village of Lugny is one of the most famous areas in the Mâconnais, and produces exceptional white wines made exclusively from the Chardonnay grape. Vineyards are situated on the Monts du Mâconnais, whose limestone subsoil imparts ideal characters of minerality, floral complexity and finesse to the Chardonnay grapes.
